This content is brought to you in partnership with Branch Builds, which provides professional construction management services on a diverse array of projects to a broad range of private and public-sector owners.
Branch and Associates Inc., one the largest construction management firms in Virginia and North Carolina, is rebranding as Branch Builds Inc. to reflect the company’s ambitious 20-year growth goal.
The company, founded as Branch & Associates in Roanoke, Va., in 1963, has become more established in North Carolina in recent years and is poised for significant growth. The Charlotte Branch Builds office located near Interstate 77 and Tyvola Road is particularly poised to expand.
“This is an exciting time,” says Branch Builds President Craig Floyd. “Since our founding over 55 years ago, we have created a reputation for consistent embodiment of our core values and delivering on our core purpose of building legacies for a thriving future.”
Branch Builds, a subsidiary of Branch Group Inc., has delivered exceptional projects over its 55 years, including higher education, K-12, multifamily, municipality/government, health care, hospitality and senior living, and is known for its preconstruction, general contracting, construction management, lean construction and design-build services.
Dan Patete, manager of the firm’s Charlotte office, notes that a key differentiator for Branch is its focus on building mutually beneficial relationships with clients and hyper-focused attention on performance and value.
“Branch Builds has an established legacy of delivering projects that make a positive impact and are transformational within communities,” says Patete, who has more than 20 years experience in construction management. “Branch Builds invests in its teams and the communities in which we work. Equally important is our commitment to intangible components that make a project successful, such as teamwork, transparency, trust, commitment, and accountability. These are defining values for Branch Builds.”
Among the firm’s notable local clients are the City of Winston-Salem and Cabarrus County Public Schools. Ongoing projects include the renovation of Sun Valley High School in Union County and construction of Cabarrus High School in Cabarrus County.
