Renderings out for 23-story spec tower in Charlotte’s South End

Chicago-based commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield released renderings for a 23-story office tower in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood. The tower is expected to have 370,000 square feet of office space with 7,000 square feet of street-level retail and an 8,000-square-foot amenity center.

Construction has yet to start and no tenants have been named. The developers have also chosen not to reveal the project’s cost.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Stiles is partnering with Shorenstein Properties LLC of San Francisco for the project, which is slated for completion in fall 2022. Nashville-based Hastings Architecture is serving as the architect while Cushman & Wakefield will oversee leasing.

The site is at the corner of East and South boulevards, where the South End and Dilworth neighborhoods connect. It is less than a mile from downtown Charlotte.
