North Carolina is brimming with talented lawyers, including 15 spotlighted in the Legal Elite feature in the January 2023 Business North Carolina. Peers voted for the most esteemed lawyers in various specialties in the annual project. The winners shared some personal information including their favorite high school activities. Other in-depth features included a story on why Centene reversed its plans for a $1 billion Charlotte campus and how Appalachian State University has maintained a winning football tradition despite lacking the financial resources of most peers.
