Passions: Time with my wife, children and friends, especially if it includes empanadas; the outdoors and most types of physical activity; travel; reading; really, anything that helps me appreciate that I have more than I deserve.
Where he’d live if he had to practice somewhere else: In the U.S., Charleston, S.C., offers a fantastic quality of life comparable with the Triangle and a unique profile compared with other American cities. Outside the U.S., probably London. Buenos Aires, Argentina, would be tempting but a greater challenge from a business standpoint.
Favorite place: Belgrano neighborhood in Buenos Aires, the place of many fond memories with family as a child and adult.
Hero: My grandfather in Buenos Aires, who passed at the age of 93 in 2013. He taught me invaluable lessons both in work and life and was a beloved role model for the entire family. Not to mention that late in life he could memorize the sequence of two decks of cards in one sitting.
