Chances are that Bojangles will be giving away some sausage biscuits during the ACC men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.
Throughout both tournaments, any time any team scores 77 or more points, fans can get a free sausage biscuit the next day at participating Bojangles restaurants, the company announced Wednesday.
The women play March 6-10 in Greensboro, and the men play March 12-16 in Washington, D.C.
If a team scores 77 points here’s how to collect the sausage biscuit:
- Download the Bojangles app;
- Add the biscuit to your cart; and
- Enter the code “ACCScore” to redeem.
Free biscuits are limited to one per day per customer. No purchase is necessary to get the free biscuit.
The “77” score is a nod to the brand’s birth year – 1977. The restaurant started with a single location in Charlotte and now has about 800 company owned and franchised restaurants.
Which teams are likely to come through? Women’s teams for Florida State University (80.2 ppg) and Notre Dame (80 ppg) both average better than 77 points per game, followed closely by Virginia Tech (76.2 ppg) and N.C. State (75.4 ppg).
On the men’s side, the odds are a bit better. UNC Chapel Hill (81.5 ppg), Duke (80.2 ppg), Wake Forest (78.6 ppg) and Clemson (78.2 ppg) all average above the 77 point mark.
