Billy Frank was named president of the Raleigh-based mid-Atlantic region of First Tennessee Bank. He succeeds John Fox, who becomes chairman after 13 years leading the region, which includes North Carolina offices in Greenville, Winston-Salem, Charlotte and Raleigh; .Richmond, Va.; Charleston, S.C.; and Jacksonville, Fla. Frank had been president of First Tennessee’s community banking group in Tennessee.
The Nashville-based bank is the largest financial institution based in Tennessee.
