Employer Vaccine Mandates: What Your Business Needs to Know

This content is brought to you in partnership with the NC Chamber.

North Carolina’s employers have consistently worked to keep communities safe throughout the pandemic, shifting to produce much-sought PPE, keeping food and other essential products moving to market, developing and scaling the vaccines so vital to fostering our forward momentum, and protecting lives and livelihoods across our state.

OSHA’s latest emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) will have broad and significant impacts on our state’s job creators if it stands up to legal challenges now being decided in federal court. Despite a suggestion of urgency, the ETS and the timelines it provides are anything but, serving only to inject more uncertainty for employers already tackling unprecedented talent shortages and supply-chain challenges.

The NC Chamber recently hosted N.C. Labor Commissioner Josh Dobson and Nelson Mullins employment law specialist Phil Strach for a webinar in which they unpacked the ETS and discussed implications for North Carolina employers.

You can view the webinar, “Employer Vaccine Mandates: What Your Business Needs to Know,” and access other ETS resources here.
