Greensboro-based Cone Health named Kenneth Rempher executive vice president and chief nurse executive, effective August 22. He was chief nursing officer at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the University of Iowa Health Care. Rempher has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, a master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.
“Kenneth is a highly collaborative leader with a proven track record of developing creative and innovative solutions to advance the practice of nursing and serve patients across the continuum of care,” Cone Health’s Chief Operating Officer Judy Schanel said in the press release. “We are looking forward to the broad strategic thinking that Kenneth will bring to our leadership team.”
Cone Health employs more than 11,000 people at more than 100 locations, including six hospitals in the Triad area.
