2016 Small Business of the Year

Digital-marketing company Three Ships was named Business North Carolina‘s 2016 N.C. Small Business of the Year at a luncheon Dec. 2 at the Umstead Hotel in Cary. Raleigh native Zach Clayton built Three Ships from three employees to three divisions expected to generate $10 million in revenue this year. Runners-up are: Kinston-based Mother Earth Brewing, Pilot Mountain-based Omega Construction and Monroe-based 2 Hounds Design. Read more about the companies here.
