What do you like best about your job?
I am truly blessed to be able to work with North Carolina business owners and their trusted advisers. Their entrepreneurial spirit is inspiring.
What else inspires you?
People that give back. There are many people that do lots of little things to make the world, and our great state, better.
Who should we be paying attention to?
Fredrick Reese, CEO of WCI Inc., because they are fully committed to making North Carolina the healthiest place to live and work in the entire country. (WCI is an employer association based in Asheville.) They have an employee benefits captive that gives businesses a way to capture new profits. They also have a health program that dramatically cuts spending while increasing productivity and retention. A true win-win for employers and employees!
What was your biggest challenge this week?
Traveling to presentations all over the place.
Favorite N.C. vacation spot?
Depending on the weather, Wrightsville Beach or Pisgah National Forest.
