5 questions for David Herring
David Herring is the East Region channel manager for the partner program at Spectrum Enterprise (formerly Time Warner). He helps Spectrum’s partners with training and marketing to sell voice and data solutions. Herring has been in the communications industry since 1996 with BTI and now, Spectrum. I’ve known David for 20 years, and he is a true sales professional. He knows his product, and he knows his customers. He lives in the Five Points neighborhood in Raleigh with his wife and two daughters, Elliott and Kate. He’s a big baseball fan (GO Yankees), member of F3 Raleigh and enjoys going to Hurricanes games.
1) What do you like best about your job?
Helping partners grow their business!
2) What inspires you?
My wife, Sally, who has a super-successful wedding and event-planning business.
3) Who should we be paying attention to?
Your family … I hear a lot of noise and complaining (we all do!) about people, companies, authority, media, government etc. BE NICE! Just pay attention to and help our families make a positive impact. Everything else will take care of itself.
4) What was your biggest challenge this week?
Staying on my daily task list.
5) Favorite N.C. vacation spot?
Morehead City and Atlantic Beach!
